according to the tittle, I
want to describe about operating system, there are opareting system which we
can use in our computer for example Unix, Dos,
Linux, Windows, etc. in this report I want introduce to you what is
Linux and windows?
Linux is operating system
which use Text command to operate the system and aplication, there are many
distro or kind of linux for example, Debian, Mint, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc. many
people include the student of SMKN 1 Cibinong have opinion that Linux is difficult
to operate and the command not simple, cause the operating system not friendly
with user. But they don't know that Linux very safety with virus, cause it many
company use linux to be a Operating System in they server. Beside it, the
packet sofware of linux is completed and linux is open source operating system.
The meaning of open source is if you will copy, duplicated, and edit linux,
this Operating system still original label, and then this operating system so easly to explorer.
Windows have many kind
there are, windows Xp, windows 98, windows Vista, Windows 2000 Server, Windows
Seven, and etc. windows is Operating system which use Grapical user interfaces
(GUI) so, this operating system so friendly with user, many people choose this
operating system because the desktop is so easly to operate, but this operating
systtem not safety with virus, if you use thi operating system you must
installed antivirus sofware and update the antivirus to protect your computer
from virus, if you not installed and update antivirus sofware, your data and
aplication will be risk and lost. Beside it windows not open source operating
system, you must have a licensi original to use this operating system, if you
not have a licensi this operating system is not original. Factually many people
in the world especially in our country not use original operating system cause
the original operating system is expensive.
From survey 99 % student
and teacher Smkn1 cibinong use windows in they computer to be a operating
system.
